Hold up. How the fuck is Stovall only contracted for 1 year? He was signed as a FA for 20 M. Shouldn't that be a 4 year deal at minimum?

Veto pending contract resolution
Contract minimums Contract minimums are in place to keep team and owners from bidding a lot of money during any one season and driving there salary cap into the ground. In light of this, there are a minimum number of years a contract must be for a given amount. $15m - $22.999m = 4 year minimum contract $23m+ = must be a five year contract

Sorry Nate, but the fault is shared on this one. Yes, he never should have been posted as a 1 year contract, but the you said you wanted a 1 year deal which means one of two things.
Either: A) you never read the FA rules before bidding Or: B) you knew that was the rule, but asked for just 1 yr anyway.
I'm not a fan of either option.

Definetly a mistake on JG here. Its not a big deal but these are the rules
People make errors. They are people, thats what they do.
Maurice Stovall = 4 years @ 20 Million
DONE.

If Stovall is a 4 year deal then I decline the trade. I dont want him for 4 years at 20m.
